PMI Mile Hi Symposium 2020
Along with my colleagues Bill Banks and Scott Leitl, I had the honor of presenting 'Iterative Innovation with Design Sprints' at the PMI Mile Hi Symposium in February of 2020. We presented a detailed case study of the design and development of a mobile application at DCP Midstream that utilized the Google Venture Design Sprint process. My dad even made the trip to Denver to see our presentation. There was a professional videographer in the room, but you can catch my dad's iPhone footage here.

SAFETY COMMITTEE
The GPA Midstream Association Safety Committee is always working to stay apprised of new technologies being implemented across the industry. I was invited to share with them the benefits of digitizing regulatory inspections and the the expedited project timeline my team realized by actively engaging end users.

2019 NATIONAL CONFERENCE
When you're asked to introduce Dr. Christine Mann Darden as the keynote speaker of the WEN 2019 National Conference, you happily accept the invitation. I had the pleasure of spending time with Dr. Darden, a retired NASA engineer, prior to her presentation. Hearing about her varied experiences first-hand allowed me to personalize her introduction with anecdotes and observations about her endless energy and grit. Introducing her to an audience of powerful women in the energy industry was a great pleasure.

YOUNG PROFESSIONAL NETWORK
Young professionals are often told that finding a mentor is vital to growing their career. However, they're commonly left to work thru the tactical process of finding a mentor with little guidance. During this workshop for the Young Professional Network at DCP Midstream, I guided a group of 30 employees to articulate their career goals and identify potential mentors who could help advance those goals. As a result of the workshop, the audience left with the confidence to seek a mentoring relationship and the understanding of how that relationship could benefit both parties.
